Jim Hyatt
Chief Executive Officer
Jim Hyatt has more than thirty-five years of experience at all levels of restaurant operations. Prior to joining Church's, Hyatt served as President and CEO of Cosi, Inc., a fast casual dining company where he achieved significant improvements in same store sales and profitability in a difficult economy. Previously, Hyatt spent sixteen years as an executive and franchise owner at Burger King Holdings. He served as Executive Vice President and Global Chief Operations Officer where he was instrumental in an organization-wide turnaround in sales and profitability. Hyatt was recruited to Burger King corporate after having been an award-winning Burger King franchisee in the Atlanta market for eleven years. During his time as a Burger King franchisee, Jim represented more than 11,000 restaurants and over 1,200 franchisees in 65 countries while serving on various committees in leadership roles with the National Franchisee Association.
John Bowie
President, US Operations
John Bowie joined Church's in September 2010 overseeing U.S. business operations. He brings over twenty years of restaurant experience across multiple segments of the industry. Prior to joining Church's Chicken, Bowie served as Senior Vice President, Restaurant Operations at Friendly's Ice Cream Corporation since 2007. John was responsible for the overall operations of more than 500 restaurants with a strategic focus on improving efficiency, quality service and cleanliness that delivered significant gains in customer satisfaction.
For the prior thirteen plus years, John held several positions at Wendy's International in marketing, international and general management. In his most recent position as Division Vice President, Mid-Atlantic, he was responsible for 700 company and franchise restaurants generating close to $1 billion in annual sales.
Bowie is a 1994 graduate of the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University where he received his Master of Business Administration. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Pedro Voyer
Executive Vice President/Global Chief Development Officer
Mr. Voyer is responsible for all company development functions including franchising, market planning, new restaurant openings, construction, re-imaging and real estate management for North America and International. In this capacity, he is charged with driving profitable & sustainable restaurant growth through his support to franchisee and corporate teams in new store development and overall portfolio optimization. He is responsible for driving the company's international expansion while supporting a healthy and profitable platform of growth for North American business units.
Mr. Voyer has more than 20 years of experience and a solid track record in corporate and franchisee development platforms overseeing new unit, market expansion, construction, facilities management, and franchisee business development. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Voyer served as senior vice president, franchise sales and development for Burger King Corp (BKC) responsible for North America & Canada's portfolio of more than 7,500 stores and over 600 franchisees. Prior to that, Mr. Voyer held several store development leadership roles (North America, Greater China, APAC, EMEA, Latin America) supporting Starbucks Coffee (SBUX) growth. In addition, Voyer held various leadership roles for YUM Brands, Tricon and PepsiCo Restaurants International and is an alumni from Bain & Co.
Mr. Voyer holds a mechanical engineering degree from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Venezuela and a MSC/MBA from the Tokyo Institute of Technology/MIT having been the first Venezuelan national to graduate from the prestigious Japanese Institute. He has extensive international experience and is fluent in five languages.
Louis J. (Dusty) Profumo
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Profumo has more than 25 years of varied and progressive growth in financial management positions and extensive experience in the restaurant and hospitality industries. As CFO and EVP of Church's he has responsibility for business planning, accounting, tax, investor and lender relations, risk management and supply chain.
Prior to joining Church's in January 2005, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Avado Brands, Inc. a casual dining restaurant company with two brands: Don Pablo's Mexican Kitchens and Hops Restaurant Bar and Microbrewery. Mr. Profumo was responsible for all financial functions as well as information technology and human resources. He was also responsible for leading the company's successful divestiture of its 279 Applebee's franchise restaurants, generating in excess of $500 million of proceeds.
Mr. Profumo was also Chief Financial Officer of Randstad North America (RNA), the North American subsidiary of one of the largest publicly traded employment solutions and staffing companies in the world. At the time RNA employed over 50,000 workers and had revenues exceeding $1.2 billion.
Mr. Profumo began his professional career with KPMG Peat Marwick in 1974 where, prior to his departure in 1997, he served as an audit partner in the firm's manufacturing, retailing, and distribution practice, specializing in restaurant industry clients.
Mr. Profumo received both a B.S. in Hotel Administration and a M.B.A. from Cornell University. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPA's, Georgia Society of CPA's and Financial Executives International.
Zack Kollias
Executive Vice President of International
As the Executive Vice president of International, Mr. Kollias spearheads the global expansion and international operations for Church's/Texas Chicken. His worldwide responsibilities encompass franchise marketing and recruiting, venue development, restaurant operations, business support, product research and development and cooperative purchasing programs.
Mr. Kollias has more than 12 years of varied and progressive growth in financial management positions and extensive experience in the restaurant industry. Most recently he served as Vice President of Finance for Planet Hollywood International, Inc. Planet Hollywood operates approximately 25 company and franchise restaurants worldwide. Mr. Kollias was responsible for business planning, financial reporting, general accounting, human resources, risk management and information technology.
Prior to joining Planet Hollywood, Mr. Kollias was Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration for Hops Restaurant Bar & Brewery. At the time, Hops had 72 restaurants throughout the United States with sales in excess of $200 million. In addition, Mr. Kollias has worked with the Applebee's, Hard Rock Café and Dairy Queen brands in the areas of Operations, M&A, Planning and Purchasing.
Mr. Kollias received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University and his master's degree in business administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Currently residing in Marietta, GA, he is a member of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association and a coach for Northlake Volleyball Club.
Ken Cutshaw
Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer
Kenneth A. Cutshaw serves as an Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of the Company. Cutshaw manages the legal affairs of Company and is responsible for global expansion of Church's and Texas Chicken. Cutshaw has professional experience in a wide spectrum of work experiences, including entrepreneurial ventures, management, foreign policy, law, business, government, academic and politics. He was formerly a partner with Holland & Knight, LLP, one of the larger law firms in the world.
In the Restaurant Industry, Cutshaw was co-founder of casual dining restaurants, Cheers Funeatery, in Tennessee; founding partner of the Red, Hot & Blue restaurant chain and a founder of Let's Go Back, LLC, the first franchisee of the Flying Biscuit restaurants in Atlanta. He is active with the International Franchise Association and the National Restaurant Association.
Cutshaw received a Master of Law International degree from American University (1987): a J.D. business law degree from The University of Tennessee (1978): a B.A. public administration degree from The University of Tennessee (1975). Cutshaw graduated from the Executive course at India Institute of Management Ahmedabad and Duke University for Global Leaders Management in 2007.
Will Costello
Executive Vice President, Supply Chain
Will Costello leads the supply chain management function for Church's Chicken. His responsibilities include oversight of purchasing, distribution, and freight/ logistics management. Prior to joining Church's, Costello was the Vice President of Purchasing at International Dairy Queen, where he was responsible for all procurement for more than 5000 restaurants in Dairy Queen's US system. Will's career also includes positions in various supply chain capacities for Yum Brands, RTM/Arby's, and RSI/Burger King. .
Costello is a graduate of Louisiana State University.
Edward Brett
Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer
Ed Brett joins Church's after having served as a consultant for the
brand in 2011. Prior to joining Church's, Mr. Brett was the Executive
Vice President of Human Resources and Community Affairs for Macy's,
Inc. Central Division in Atlanta. He also served in senior positions
in Human Resources at Gaylan's Trading Company and Circuit City. As
Chief People Officer, Mr. Brett's responsibilities include HR operations,
improving talent acquisitions and development and employee relations.
Mike Kuzminsky
Senior Vice President, Franchise Operations, US
Mike Kuzminsky is responsible for the strategic direction, financial performance and operational execution of Church's domestic franchise system. He has more than 25 years of experience in the QSR and full service restaurant industry. Prior to joining Church's, Mike held several positions over the course of 22 years at Pizza Hut, Inc., a division of YUM! Brands, Inc. He started as a restaurant general manager and worked his way up the ranks as manager of customer satisfaction. Mike moved on to core process leader for research and development of food processes in restaurant operations with a focus on productivity gains and quality improvements. In addition, Mike served in the position of National Director of Operations for Pepsico Restaurants International's casual Italian restaurant chain, East Side Mario's. Kuzminsky attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA and majored in finance.
Kirk Waisner
Chief Chicken Officer, Senior Vice President of Research & Development
and Quality Assurance
Kirk Waisner is Senior Vice President of Research & Development and Quality Assurance for Church's Chicken in Atlanta. Kirk is responsible for developing and launching new and improved products to drive sales growth at Church's. He also oversees the Quality Assurance department, which ensures that Church's suppliers provide safe, high quality, consistent products for our operators and customers.
Kirk brings over 20 years of experience in foodservice and R&D. He has held senior R&D and QA positions at Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits, Cinnabon, Kraft Foods, and Nabisco. Kirk graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, and also holds an Associate of Science degree from Culinary Institute of America.
Joel Bulger
Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing
Joel Bulger joined Church's in June, 2011. He is responsible for brand positioning and management, advertising and promotions.
Joel has a vast amount of experience in QSR, casual dining and fast casual restaurants. Prior to joining the Church's team, he was the Vice President of brand marketing for Moe's Southwest Grill. In that role he was responsible for national marketing, advertising, media and targeted consumer research. Prior to Focus Brands, Joel held various positions at Darden Restaurants, Inc., Wendy's International and The Coca-Cola Company.
Bulger is a graduate of Mercer University, Stetson School of Business and Economics where he received his Masters of Business Administration graduating at the top of his class and a B.A. in Advertising/journalism from the University of Georgia.
