Our Story
It all started in 1952 across the street from the Alamo in San Antonio, TX. George W. Church put down our Texas roots with the first Church’s Fried Chicken To-Go. With crispy goodness, hand-crafted flavor, George started cooking up what would become one of the largest QSR chicken chains in the world. Church’s Texas Chicken® spans the globe with franchises open for business worldwide.

What It Takes
Becoming part of our Church’s® family has a few requirements:
- Passion – A desire to be a part of a proven brand with an authentic identity
- Experience – A minimum of five years restaurant operations experience
- Growth – A minimum commitment to develop 5 restaurants over 5 years
- Financial Resources – A minimum of $1 MM liquid capital, a net worth of at least $2 MM and a credit score of 650+
