CHURCH’S TEXAS CHICKEN® GLOBAL CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER KAREN VIERA HONORED FOR INDUCTION INTO GEORGIA TITAN 100 HALL OF FAME
Viera’s induction follows her third consecutive recognition by the Georgia Titan 100, honoring Georgia’s most elite C-level executives
May 17, 2024, ATLANTA— Church’s Texas Chicken® and Texas Chicken™ SVP, Global Chief People Officer Karen Viera has been officially inducted into the Georgia Titan 100 Hall of Fame, an honor bestowed following her third consecutive year being named to the Georgia Titan 100 list. Viera is one of only 12 Georgia Titans being admitted to the hall of fame this year.

Viera is one of just a handful of Titan 100 award recipients who have made the Titan 100 list three times, with each year being progressively more difficult to achieve. The Titan 100 Hall of Fame are elite professionals who have consistently demonstrated the characteristics of a Titan who is a pillar of their community. In order to secure her position in the Hall of Fame, Viera completed on-camera interviews and answered a series of questions in front of a live judging committee.
In her role, Viera leads all human resource functions for the company. In 2023, she implemented the All Stars & Legends Program, recognizing those who have been with the brand for more than 15 years, and she designed and implemented the Trailblazers Innovation Portal and Program, designed to foster diversity of ideas and perspectives, promote professional development, and increase employee engagement and satisfaction. The innovation portal provides the front-line employees with an opportunity to present recommendations across seven categories from process to culture to profitability improvement ideas. Viera also developed and oversaw the company’s first-ever culture survey in 2022, taking the survey beyond engagement into a true understanding of company culture. Of particular significance was the survey’s 89 percent favorable engagement rate, which increased to 90 percent this year. In 2021, Church’s® was named a Top Workplace by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution under her leadership.
